Refund Policy

Tips are eligible for refund

Tips left through Cool Weather Compass are voluntary, but if you change your mind you are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the transaction date, no questions asked.

How to request a refund

Tips are collected through an external tip platform (Ko-fi), which handles the payment and issues your receipt.

1. Email us at hello@coolweathercompass.com with the email address you tipped with and the approximate date and amount.
2. We will confirm the tip and issue the refund through the tip platform, or pass the request to their support team where they must action it.
3. You can also contact the tip platform's support directly using the receipt they emailed you.

Once approved, refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing usually takes 3–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Future products and services

This policy currently covers tips. If Cool Weather Compass adds paid products or services in the future (for example, travel-planning consultations or classes), this page will be updated with any product-specific terms before those items go on sale. Any different refund window will be at least 14 days.

Chargebacks

Please reach out for a refund before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are costly to resolve and, in cases of abuse, may result in a declined future transaction.
